    Plantae-ID Leaf-Shape: odd-pinnate

Odd-Pinnate Definition

An odd-pinnate leaf is a type of compound leaf where leaflets are arranged along a central axis (rachis) and a single leaflet is present at the tip of the rachis. This results in an odd number of leaflets. In contrast, an even-pinnate leaf has paired leaflets at the tip, resulting in an even number of leaflets.
